Iron Man 3′s villain revealed?
New Iron Man 3 set photos from Wilmington, North Carolina reveal a particularly sinister organization will appear in the Marvel sequel. Take a peek at the image below:
Yes, Advanced Idea Mechanics (aka AIM). In the comics, AIM is the terrorist organization responsible for creating MODOK, or the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing — pretty sinister, right? The diabolical character is best known for his enormous, square head and vast intelligence.
While it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing MODOK in this upcoming Iron Man film — after all, the movie is juggling plenty of baddies already — it looks like the groundwork will at least be laid out for a potential appearance in the future. If nothing else, listen for the name “George Tarleton,” MODOK’s pre-villain alter ego.
Iron Man 3 is slated for release on May, 2013.
